Life Has Resonance
The
Energy of Stones and Crystals
For centuries men and women have used crystals to support
and enhance the energetic quality of their being. Stones
have been used in adornments around the globe to enhance,
express, and attract the vibrational qualities contained
within them.
I am often asked about the vibration and metaphysical
properties of stones. Each of us has a distinct and
special vibration, so do all the living and nonliving
things and objects that exist in our external world.
When we begin to see life as music, and understand our
resonate relationship to life, we recognize how these
vibrations become our mode of experience that is witnessed
and shared in community.
We resonate with certain vibrations in the external
world (friends for instance), as well as objects and
places. Stones and crystals grow within the earth and
contain a vibration according to the location and energetic
quality of the area that surrounds it. When we connect
with crystals and stones we often want to feel and sense
that same quality contained within the stone. We are
drawn to hold or wear these stones as a means for attracting
that energy within our own being.
I encourage you to not question the validity of each
stone, but rather explore the wonder and magic of understanding
through what you feel, and in doing so, acknowledge
the wellspring of opportunity that is available, not
only within the stone, but within yourself. Each and
every day there is music being made as we experience
this process we call life. I say: we ought take advantage
of all this music and dance until we can dance no more.
